Would you like to learn more about the watery world around you? Do you enjoy paddling? Now’s your chance! Greenways and Trails Coordinator and Marine Biologist Suwanna will be teaching a three-part class on the identification of marine organisms, their habitats, and how they are interconnected with our own. Participants will sample from shore, then kayak to another area of the preserve and compare the sample gathered there.
Reservations are required, and each four-hour class session will be open to ages 16 and up. Teachers are particularly encouraged to attend as they will be eligible to receive their Florida Marine Science Educator Association collecting permit free of charge. Visit the website for more information.
