Project Wild workshop announcement

Tentative agenda:



9am: Introduction, pre-test, Wild background

9:30-10am: ice breaker- Who Am I?


10-11am: Water Canaries


11am-11:30am: Sockeye Scents


11:30am- noon: Wetland Metaphors


Noon-12:30pm: What Your Lunch Cost Wildlife (this is a working lunch break- please brown-bag it, limited lunch options nearby)


12:30-1pm: Wild Walk, The Power of Song


1-2pm: Dragonfly Pond


2- 2:30 pm: Wildlife Research


2:30-3pm: wrapup, post test, evals



The agenda is arranged to cover a variety of grade levels starting with K-2 right up through middle/high school.



Particpants will receive both the Project Wild and Aquatic Wild curriculum manuals, certificate of completion plus a wealth of information and resources. We will also have a 'Teacher Resource Exchange' so if you bring an item you no longer use but that still has educational value, you might find something that someone else is ready to let go of in exchange. Current items up for grabs are fish tanks, water quality test kits and posters.
