We are looking forward to seeing you this Saturday at our Regional Workshop!
 
Correction to Directions--please use these instead of previous ones given

English Creek Preserve

  • Take I-4 east to Plant City
  • Continue on I-4 to County Line Road exit = Exit 25 (this is past 39/James Redman Parkway)
  • Turn south (right) onto County Line Road (past Lakeland Linder Regional Airport)-travel 7.4 miles
  • Turn west (right) onto SR 60-travel .2 mile
  • English Creek is on the north (right) side of the road-look for large sign at entrance
    (If you pass Horton Road or Smith Ryals Road while on SR 60...you've gone too far)
  • Enter gate; Education Center is visible near the gate on the east (right) side

9:15-11:00     Native Tree Tour by Dr. Andreu
11:00-12:30   Cultural Heritage Tour by Phyllis Green, HCC
12:30-1:00     Pot-luck Lunch
Please Bring a covered dish to share for lunch plus your own plate, bowl, cup and silverware. We want to minimize our ecological footprint by not using disposables--especially no Styrofoam.
