Subject: SNPS March Meeting: Forest Sustainability of the Tampa Bay Watershed

An ongoing threat to Florida's forests is the rapid pace of urbanization . To address this problem, the Tampa Bay Watershed Forest Working Group has developed a model for sustainable forest management. Rob Northrop, forest ecologist with the University of Florida/Hillsborough County Extension, will give us a presentation on this group and its work.

The meeting will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 7:00 pm at the Hillsborough Extension Office at 5339 CR 579, Seffner, Florida (I-4 Exit 10 south; just east of I-75).  The meeting is free and the public is invited to attend.  For additional information about this program, call (813) 960-8132.
