Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, environmental or marine science with two or more years of marine science educational experience. Masters preferred. Must be familiar with Florida coastal ecosystems and have the ability to work with students and adults to advance marine science education in Tampa Bay.
Responsibilities:Senior level position primarily responsible for implementing coastal environmental education and outreach programs for Tampa Bay Watch. Activities include advancement of the Tampa Bay Watch marine science curriculum, daily school district student field trips, summer camp programs, youth community outreach activities, grant management and more. Position requires highly motivated and organized, hardworking individual who can coordinate a diverse group of students and adults to undertake community coastal education and restoration programs. Requires physical ability to accomplish field trip activities in the great Florida outdoors year-round.
