This workshop isn't close by but I know some folks were interested in identifying wild mushrooms...

Oliver Moore (long time funguy of Abundant Edible Landscapes and I (Mycol) will download and fill your heads with as much info you can absorb and turn you into the fungiphylles that we are! The workshop will start with mycology 101 and how to key out and identify mushrooms. We will then go on a mushroom “hunt” in the afternoon and cook up any scores. A mushroom slide show will be presented in the evening if time allows. We will also discuss medicinal mushrooms and growing techniques.
Bring camera, notebook, field guides, bug spray, grub etc.
Cost: 75$ (or equivalent barter)
