Herp Conference Call for papers

34th Annual Herpetology Conference
When: Friday and Saturday, 25-26 March 2011
Where: Paramount Plaza Inn & Suites Conference Center, Gainesville, Florida

The Herpetology Conference is a place to highlight the direction of current science in the field of herpetology. The conference's philosophy is to bring together all phases of herpetology. We are now welcoming abstracts in all aspects of herpetology including
conservation, natural history, ecology, evolution, phylogeny, physiology, and veterinary medicine. We expect that individuals will present their own original research. This is a great place to practice presenting to a smaller, more relaxed audience before heading onto national and international conferences. Typical presentations will be fifteen minutes long, with an additional five minutes for questions. There will also be a poster session. This is a great opportunity for those who would like to participate actively in the conference without giving a presentation or for those currently planning or conducting their research. There will be awards for best presentation.

To apply, please send:

Title of presentation or poster (brief titles are best)
Author(s) of presentation
Institutional or professional affiliation
Contact information, including mailing address, email address, and phone number
A brief abstract (250 words or less)

Please specify whether you are interested in presenting a poster or talk.

Submissions can be made via e-mail in MS Word format to

TheHerpetologyConference@gmail.com

or saved to a CD and mailed to:
