From Karen Warkentin Department of Biology Boston University VIA CNAH ANNOUNCEMENT The Center for North American Herpetology Lawrence, Kansas http://www.cnah.org 8 December 2009 TROPICAL TREEFROG INTERNSHIPS FOR STUDENTS Three-month NSF-funded internships for American (citizen or permanent resident) and Latin American students in the Warkentin/Vonesh lab in Gamboa, Panama, during the summer of 2010. Participate in cutting-edge ecological research in a biologically rich rainforest environment as part of a diverse and dynamic international community of scientists. We are recruiting US undergraduate students and Latin American undergraduates or recent graduates for NSF-funded summer internships studying ecology, evolution and behavior of red-eyed treefrogs at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama. This is a great opportunity for young scientists to gain research experience in a biologically rich rainforest environment, and to interact with a diverse international community of scientists.
