TROPICAL TREEFROG INTERNSHIPS FOR STUDENTS

Three-month NSF-funded internships for American (citizen or permanent resident) and
Latin American students in the Warkentin/Vonesh lab in Gamboa, Panama, during the
summer of 2010. Participate in cutting-edge ecological research in a biologically rich
rainforest environment as part of a diverse and dynamic international community of
scientists.

We are recruiting US undergraduate students and Latin American undergraduates or recent
graduates for NSF-funded summer internships studying ecology, evolution and behavior
of red-eyed treefrogs at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama. This is a
great opportunity for young scientists to gain research experience in a biologically rich
rainforest environment, and to interact with a diverse international community of
scientists. More information about the project and application process is available online
at:

http://people.bu.edu/kwarken/KWLabInternships.html

Application deadline: January 15, 2010.

For more information on the project or how to apply, visit the Warkentin Lab website at

http://people.bu.edu/kwarken/

Please encourage any young scientist whom you believe would benefit from this
experience to apply. Applications are due 15 January 2010.
