Educators Symposium at Weedon Island Thursday, July 31

Suncoast Earth Force presents its annual Teachers' Symposium, "A day of environmental awareness," on Thursday, July 31 at Weedon Island Preserve's Cultural and Natural History Center, 1800 Weedon Drive N.E. in St. Petersburg. The event runs from 8:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m, and the public is welcome to attend to learn more from local experts and mingle with some of the Tampa Bay area's top educators.
 
Among the presentations scheduled:
 
>Building a Museum at Your School
>Energy Conservation
>Proper Disposal of Medicines
>How To Be More "Green"
>Watersheds and Stormwater
 
Time is allocated from 2:00-2:30 p.m. for audience members to visit and talk with the speakers.
