In case you haven't heard, the USF College of Marine Science is hosting an education and outreach event on Friday, February 15th - and you're invited! The newly formed Tampa Bay Science Education Leadership Group is holding its inaugural "Share-a-Thon" event and luncheon from 9am to 2pm in the MSL Conference Room.
The "Share-a-Thon" is an opportunity for local education and outreach professionals, scientists, and students to come together and inform each other of ongoing programs, current/upcoming events, volunteer needs, and collaboration opportunities. The idea is to get everyone in a room to discuss topics of shared importance and make meaningful connections with regional partners. Plus, this is a great time to learn about the Tampa Bay Science Education Leadership Group and how you can get involved!
