Nature's Academy, Inc. is a non-profit environmental educational company based in Tampa, Florida. Our programs aim to educate individuals about the complexity of earth's ecosystems and inspire them to become better stewards of our limited resources. We provide hands-on programs which immerse participants in the learning environment. Our topics include ecology, marine science, botany, physics, chemistry and astronomy to name a few! We offer programs from Tampa to the Florida Keys covering a diverse subject matter.

Nature's Academy is seeking 4-5 part-time seasonal staff for the 2008 season. Instructional staff lead groups of students on both outdoor and indoor adventures. Please refer to our website for a detailed description of our programs. Instructional staff must be willing to work long hours and tolerate challenging conditions in tropical sun. Additionally, applicants must be self-directed, responsible and detail-oriented. Minimum requirements are a degree in life science, teaching experience, and local knowledge of Florida flora and fauna. Applicants must have own transportation. CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard training a plus. Although these are seasonal positions, Nature's Academy hopes to grow with its employees and eventually lead to full time positions with benefits.
Compensation is dependent upon experience.
